We’re delighted to announce another big moment for Mc&T as The Drum has awarded us and giffgaff best B2C integrated campaign for our giffgaff Black Friday Pop Up.
We loved creating this campaign where we took a stand against the “enemy” of consumerism on one of the biggest commercial moments in the calendar by turning Black Friday on its head and encouraging people to “Take the pledge” and choose refurbished.
To do so we created a Pop Up shop with a big difference…nothing was for sale. Constructed using only recycled materials, the giffgaff Pop Up was home to 100 refurbished items – 50 of which were giffgaff mobile phones.
Lots of hard work and exceptional creativity went into this campaign, a true testament to the team and everyone involved in making it happen!
